Description:
This is a development of 7 one bedroom flats on four storeys with a small retail unit on the ground floor.
The site, an ex public toilet, is sandwiched between a girls' school and a Grade 11 listed library. It occupies most of the site including the complete frontage with just a small amenity space to the rear.
Shepherds Bush Road is a busy main road and is also a red route adding to the delivery and material storage problems of a tight site. To minimize the need for crane offloads and allow smaller deliveries the originally designed blockwork internal walls and concrete floors have been replaced by metal stud partitioning and timber joists.
The scheme commenced in June 07 and is due for completion in Spring 2008.
