Description:
Commissioned by the Peabody Trust for Bridge Housing Association the building provides 12 single person apartments with communal facilities as part of the Government's 1990 Rough Sleepers Initiative.
A brickwork outer skin faces the street while the interior courtyard is clad in timber with galleries to the apartments. The three storey building has an off-site prefabricated timber frame which allowed rapid site erection.
